Given all of the work that will need to be coordinated to restore Florida after the destruction from Hurricane Ian, The New York State Wireless Association (NYSWA) board of directors approved a $1,000 donation to relief efforts. Our friends at the New Jersey Wireless Association (NJWA) immediately matched our efforts, which we so kindly thank.

We encourage our organization members, telecom industry partners, colleagues and others to donate as well. Our thoughts are with those who suffered loss and to our colleagues who are already working on recovery efforts in the state.  

Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis announced the activation of the Florida Disaster Fund to support Florida’s communities impacted by Hurricane Ian. Donations to the Florida Disaster Fund are made to the Volunteer Florida Foundation, 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and are tax-deductible.
