Even in that environment we persevered and made remarkable achievements, thanks to your unwavering support and the continued generosity of our sponsors. We are also setting a higher standard for NYSWA programming in 2025 to ensure our members get more from participation in our organization. From enhanced member resources to more engaging educational programs and networking events, we are creating more opportunities to support your career goals, industry knowledge, and contributions to the wireless sector. We already have our marquis events in motion and plan to also host several Network for the Network events locally to continue to drive community and peer engagement.

It’s hard to believe we are already in year two, but we are proud to continue the development of ELEVATE-Empowering Learning, Education, and Visionary Advancement in Telecommunications-NYSWA’s workforce development program. ELEVATE creates opportunities for students ready to bridge the gap between academic achievements and real-world professional success. By providing a hands-on learning experience, ELEVATE connects participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market. We were thrilled to see one of the program’s students secure a job with Verizon Wireless this past year and we have plans to continue to broaden the reach and community of educational institutions we engage with allowing us to continue to grow and expand the success of the program.
